Lifting de Pescoço (Cervicoplastia / Platismaplastia)

Neck lift surgery addresses the specific anatomy of the neck rather than the face overall — making it appropriate for patients whose primary aging concerns are centered below the jaw. The procedure typically combines two techniques: cervicoplasty (removing excess skin) and platysmaplasty (tightening the platysma muscle responsible for visible vertical neck bands, sometimes called "turkey wattle"). Submental liposuction or direct fat excision is often added when neck fullness is the primary concern.

Incisions are placed behind the ear and sometimes under the chin, hidden in natural creases. For patients with significant skin laxity, neck lift is often combined with facelift for harmonious results — addressing the neck alone in someone with significant midface aging can create a "good neck on an old face" disparity. Younger patients with isolated neck concerns are excellent standalone candidates.
