Post-operative care packages provide structured recovery support after cosmetic surgery or invasive treatments. Common inclusions are lymphatic drainage massage (reduces swelling and speeds healing), wound monitoring, compression therapy, ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments to break down scar tissue, and nutritional support supplements. Post-op care is especially important after liposuction, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, and breast augmentation.
Sessions are typically booked to start 1–7 days post-surgery, subject to the surgeon's clearance. Lymphatic drainage is performed by a specialist therapist on a massage table — the pressure is light but covers the full treatment area. Sessions run 60–90 minutes. Bruising and swelling reduction is typically noticeable after 2–3 sessions. Full protocols are often 5–10 sessions over 2–4 weeks, then tapered off.
