A mid-facelift focuses on the cheek and mid-face region rather than the lower face and neck. Techniques include endoscopic approaches (small incisions in the temple and inside the mouth) and limited-incision lifts. The cheek pad is repositioned over the malar bone to soften the nasolabial fold, restore cheek projection, and improve the tear trough.
This procedure is particularly suited to patients in their 40s-50s with isolated mid-face concerns who don't yet need a full facelift. It's often combined with lower blepharoplasty (eye-bag removal) since the techniques share anatomical territory.
