Profhilo represents a different category of injectable — neither a traditional volumizing filler nor a collagen stimulator like Sculptra. It contains highly concentrated, ultra-pure hyaluronic acid (32 mg/ml) in both low and high molecular weight forms, hybridized into a stable gel that disperses slowly after injection. The treatment improves skin quality, hydration, and elasticity by stimulating fibroblast activity and remodelling extracellular matrix proteins.
Treatment uses a "BAP" (Bio Aesthetic Points) protocol — five precise injection points per side of the face that allow the product to spread across treatment zones rather than staying localized. Two sessions are typical (spaced 4 weeks apart) with annual maintenance.
