Lip flip uses a small dose of botulinum toxin (typically 4-8 units) injected at strategic points along the upper lip's vermilion border. The toxin relaxes the orbicularis oris muscle just enough to allow the upper lip to "flip" or "roll" outward, creating the appearance of a fuller lip without adding volume. Results are subtle — visible but not obvious — and last 6-8 weeks before reinjection is needed.
